One year after its headline-grabbing launch at the last IFA, Philips’ Aurea screen is back and bristling with new features. The latest iteration will be available in two sizes, both the original 42 inches and a new 37 inches Full HD model. Another key change is the border between the screen-panel and the Active Frame transparent bezel.
Other improvements include 100Hz Clear LCD tech with 2ms performance (down from 3ms), a claimed 30,000:1 contrast ratio. There is also an addition of an extra HDMI input port, bringing the total to four. Did i mention that the screen is one of the brightest screens I have ever seen.
