First Android Phone: T-Mobile G1

This is just for the record. We all know that Android has landed. So which phone in the market is the first phone to implement Android? T-Mobile’s G1 is the first Android phone to hit the market. But besides Google’s brand new OS, the G1 packs 3G data speeds, a comfortable keyboard, and a 3-MP camera. Inside you’ll find Amazon’s over-the-air music store that offers DRM-free music. Google Maps with the enhanced Street View Compass features, and an entire Android application store for adding games, such as PacMan, social networking apps, and more.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

A helpful article, I just given this onto a fellow worker who was doing a little analysis on this. And he in fact bought me breakfast because I discovered it for him…. smile.. So let me rephrase that: Thanks for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to talk about this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more information? It is extremely helpful for me. Two thumb up for this article!

  10. I am so happy to read this. This is the type of info that needs to be given and not the random misinformation that is at the other blogs. Appreciate your sharing this best doc.
