These days though, with the Internet revolution having made us all habitual computer users and car makers discovering that there is gold in it for them to gather, such collaborations are fast becoming a familiar part of the gadget landscape. Bologna boys Lamborghini might have some way to go before they catch up with those promiscuous product hussies Ferrari, but for now they have teamed up with Taiwanese IT champ Asus to unleash the VX3.

With its sapphire crystal display, leather-bound palm rest and lacquered yellow or black finish, the exterior’s certainly pretty slick as notebooks go. Under the bonnet, we’re talking an Inter Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB RAM, a fat 320GB hard drive, Nvidia GeForce 9300M graphics to keep the gaming addicts happy and a full optical mouse and matching leather mousepad included in the standard package. This is definitely for style-conscious speed-heads but there is no denying the punch it packs in the performance stakes.
