First changing the way games can be played with the Wii, Nintendo has once again set a new standard for video games and home entertainment with this new console, the Wii U. It includes a controller with a 6.2-inch screen. The addition of a second screen in a bedroom or living room enhances a plethora of new video game experiences while offering a variety of options of entertainment.
Before, playing video games at home have been restricted to the TV and offered similar perspectives to each player in a multiplayer setting. Also, playing video games and watching TV have been totally separate experiences. With this new controller, it removes all of these boundaries, creating a more dynamic gaming and entertainment experience. Expected to release in 2012 but stay tuned for updates.
