The Finnish brand, Nokia released the N900 a couple years back but this time, it seems that they have released the successor to that model. Nokia decided to eliminate the slide-out keyboard seen on the N900 and instead opted for the full touch screen functionality. A theme that all phone companies are following.
With its new and innovative new design, the home key button is replaced by a swipe resulting in the first all-screen phone from Nokia. The three home views of the user interface are designed to give fast access to the most important things people do with a phone: using apps, staying up to date with notifications and social networks, and switching between activities.
The tech specs for the N9 includes a TI OMAP3630 system on chip based on ARM Cortex A8, with one core and clocked at 1GHz. It is the followup to the SoC used in the Nokia N900, the OMAP3430 which ran at 600MHz, however they share the same GPU, the PowerVR SGX530, which is also used in the iPhone 3GS.
