Sony unveils its new VAIO Z series. The laptop itself weighs under 1.2kg and boasts a powerful setup with a with a Core i7-2620M 2.7GHz processor, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, and up to a 256GB SSD. The design itself is sleek as Sony opted to go with the traditional all black theme, the way all laptops were once. Additionally, the notebook can power up to four screens including its own display and its HDMI output. Each screen can be active anytime and this is a dream for any desktop workstation user.

Also, the laptop features an extended battery life with up to 7 hours from the standard pack and up to 14 hours with the addition of the sheet battery. A backlit keyboard is also added with your choice of having a DVD or Blu-ray drive configured. This model is on pre-sale now through Sony UK selling for approximately $2,286 USD.
