iPhone 5 – Coming in September?http://gizmoave.com/2011/08/08/iphone-5-coming-in-september/ http://gizmoave.com/2011/08/08/iphone-5-coming-in-september/#comments Mon, 08 Aug 2011 19:57:15 +0000 renzofiaza http://gizmoave.com/?p=4164 With the influx of rumors and speculations circulating throughout the web in the recent months, it has been reported that we might finally have a target month for the release of the highly anticipated iPhone 5.

The Guardian reports that the phone is undergoing final carrier testing which is a process that should take only weeks and that leaves Apple in a prime position to step up its manufacturing to meet a September launch.

Business Insider also states that the next iPhone is possibly a major update rather than just a spec change. They claim that it will boast a larger display and thinner bezel in addition to a dual-core processor. The form factor is said to be similar to the iPhone 4.

What is different is that in addition to a dual-core processor that we have talked about before, our supply chain sources indicate that it will sport a slightly larger display than the current 3.5-inch retina display that is already industry leading. We are picking up that it will retain a similar form factor and size but with thinner bezel. We believe this makes sense to improve the iPhone experience without making it too bulky as we have seen with models from competitors.

Shown below is a picture that is possibly the upcoming iPhone 5 but it most likely is a fake.

An expected 25 million units will be produced through the end of this year.

Apple’s sales estimates of the new iPhone is quite aggressive. It told us to prepare to help the company meet its goal of 25 million units by the end of the year,” said another person at one of Apple’s suppliers. “The initial production volume will be a few million units… we were told to ship the components to assembler Hon Hai in August.

It’s been also rumored that the new iPhone will be almost the same as the current iPhone 4 but more thinner and lighter, although Apple’s manufacturing partner Foxconn/Hon Hai is having difficulties on the new device due to it being “complicated and difficult to assemble.” Two of the people, however, cautioned that shipments of the new iPhone could be delayed if Hon Hai can’t improve its yield rate as the new iPhone is “complicated and difficult to assemble.

This new camera brand has produced a revolutionary approach in which focusing a shot doesn’t have to be necessary anymore. Any images shot can now be adjusted after the photo has been taken. This is possible due to a hypersensitive sensor that captures everything the camera sees which allows you to tweak focus, light levels and even create 3D imagery. Although this will be new to the market, the creator, Dr. Ren Ng has stated that the cameras will be available in a relatively affordable package.

Lytro really introduces something new and unbelievable so please follow this link to see examples of their revolutionary lens.
